Thanks for returning! I have a Facebook Fan page and Twitter account that you may be interested in too.

We don’t have a huge budget for marketing so we rely on our users to spread the word. We’ve also been very fortunate in the past few months to have received mentions in a number of great education focused blogs. I wanted to showcase a bit of what has been written about us, not only to highlight what people are saying but also to highlight the great blogs out there.

First I want to highlight Edudemic, which is a beautiful blog that focuses on cool tools for education. It has a lot of graphics and guides to using technology. It’s one of the few blogs that I subscribe to via email and actually read regularly. Here’s the Edudemic piece on Enter the Group (which was a guest post by me). You can subscribe to the blog by email, rss and follow him on Twitter.

Another great blog for discovering new innovation in education technology is Emerging Ed Tech which is run by Kelly Walsh of the College of Westchester in White Plains NY. The focus of the blog is to explain and go through various tech tools and how they can be used in the classroom. Kelly was kind enough to allow me to contribute a guest post regarding Enter The Group and discuss its applications. I think the blog has a lot of useful information and I try to check it out regularly.

We were recently mentioned in the Teachers First Classroom Resources section.  Here is what they said “ETG is just the place for the teacher who would like a classroom social media site that has a little more structure than a wiki and extensive features”. This site seems geared toward helping teachers find great resources and truly figuring out how to use them. This is of course is the big problem these days – so many tools, too little time or training. The site has  a list of useful resources for your classroom so you should really check it out.

We don’t want to get into every blog we’ve ever been mentioned in, but some other great ones include iLearn Technology, Ed Tech Digest and Free Technology for Teachers.

Are there other great education blogs you like and want to recommend? Please feel to share it in the comments below. Thanks!
